First the pros:

- friendly population.
- low prices.
- beautiful nature.
- pleasent climate
- delicious food
- pretty girls ;)

And now for the cons:

- poor infrastructure.
- nightlife is not that interesting.
- jobs are hard to find.
- politics

Just my opinion :)

  • Safe place: I never worry about my safety when I'm in Laos.
  • Honest people: if I leave my wallet somewhere, chances are I would get it back.
  • Cheap: Your money goes far even in the big cities.
  • Poor modern facilities: Internet, Cable TV etc. lacks.
  • No beaches: Some tourists may miss the beaches.
  • Socialism: Socialism may not be the best way for this country to progress.

I think it's a little bit too hot :?

hmm.. Pros?
- I like the pace of life here... relaxing../..slow../..lazy ..:D

- Too hot.. :(
- and maybe .. Education Quality? < I can't really speak for this, because I don't know how it is...
but, I mean.. in a long-term planning..., I'd prefer to raise my child in a "competitive scenario", a place where you need to struggle and work hard in order to survive, etc... (not that I have a child.. I'm not even married yet :o haha.. just ..long-term speaking...)
Currently in a journey looking for cheap lessons about anything.. new language.. cooking.. sports.. martial arts.. psychic abilities.. dragon balls.. pokemons.. etc..
If you have anything cheap to share.. contact me :D

Keep going .. keep learning :P
