Here are some of the news making headlines in November, 2014.

That Luang Festival to be celebrated in the beginning of November. The yearly festival and ceremony called That Luang lasts for about one week, and is held for the 448th time since the year 1566. Read more.

Thai Airways to resume flights between Bangkok and Luang Prabang. Good news for people who need to travel between Northern Laos and Bangkok, as Thai Airways now again flies between these two destinations. Read more.

Economic zone to be established between Laos and Thailand. The Mukdahan province on the Laos side is to be declared a special economic zone says Laos and Thai officials. Read more.
