Here are some of the news making headlines in March, 2015.

British Embassy to launch online appointment system. You can no longer just walk in to the British Embassy in Vientiane for documentary services. Instead you will have to book an appointment online from a computer or mobile device in advance. Read more.

Tiger and bear is on the menu for Chinese tourists says report. According to a new report by EIA, undercover investigation finds live bear cubs and tiger bone wine on the menu in restaurants located in the Golden Triangle. Caters to Chinese tourists. Read more.

More victims of human trafficking were rescued in 2014. 157 Lao nationals (most of them under the age of 18) were rescued in 2014 from human trafficking. That's an increase of about 52% since 2013. Read more.
